Are your products celiac friendly?
While I source all wholegrain gluten-free ingredients for my baked goods, I currently work out of a shared kitchen space where there is potential for cross-contamination and may not be suitable for those with celiac.
Where are you based?
I am based in beautiful sunny San Diego and currently bake out of Kitchens for Good Bakeshop in Old Town.
Do you offer delivery?
Because I am a small-scale operation, I currently only offer morning pick-up at Kitchens For Good Bake Shop (Old Town) and afternoon/evening pick-up at Origins Grocers (North Park).
Do you have a storefront?
Not yet, but my current home base is Bake Shop in Old Town (Thurs-Sat). However, the vision is to eventually open my own brick and mortar community space so stay tuned!
Why seasonal?
Have you ever heard of the saying, “what grows together, goes together?”
As soon as I heard this phrase in reference to seasonal eating, it all clicked for me. When we eat seasonally, it tends to take the guess work out of which ingredients to combine because they are inherently complimentary- just as mother nature intended! Not only that, when produce has the chance to reach peak ripeness, its more flavorful and nutrient dense. Its also a wonderful opportunity to connect with local food systems by sourcing from small-scale farms- which is probably my favorite part.
